Richard Kaszas
teacher
Richard is one of the the top teachers in the Fred Astaire Texas region. Specialized in Rhythm, but also great in all the other styles, he is joining our team to contribute to our high quality staff.
Faith Pangea
teacher
Faith comes from Greece. Together with Richard, she is one of the the top teachers in the Fred Astaire Texas region. Specialized in Rhythm, but also great in all the other styles, he is joining our team to contribute to our high quality staff.
Christopher Simon
teacher
Christopher joined Fred Astaire in 2010, and is a high expierenced dance dirctor, staff trainer and of course teacher. We are extremely happy that he can join our team.
Ellen Ekkart
owner/teacher
Ellen is a professional dancer, choreographer and International Adjudicator from Belgium. She was 7 times National Champion Ballroom Professionals from 2010 till 2016 with her partner and husband Peter. In 2016 they were 2nd in World Championships 40+ Ballroom for Professionals in Italy. Ellen worked as a fashion Model for Walter Van Beirendonck in Paris and appeared in multiple tv shows in Belgium.
She danced as professional in 3 seasons of Dancing with the stars on Belgium Television.

Peter Ekkart
owner/teacher
Peter was born and raised in a dance studio. He started very young to dance competitions in Ballroom and Latin. He also was a student on the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp. He turned professional at 20, and gained 7 Belgian Champion titles in Latin, All-Round and Showdance. He made the final in the All-Round World Championship in 1989. Two years later he focused on judging, teaching and choreographing. After meeting Ellen, he started competing again, now focusing on Ballroom. They were 7 times undefeated Champions, and became Vice-World Champion in Ballroom Professionals 40+. More info on Wikipedia.
